Ek Dori At The Sanskriti Lifestyle PopUp In Pune
When I started Ek Dori, I made a conscious decision that I would try to make Ek Dori a digital brand. This I decided for 2 reasons..
1. I had a huge failure (watch the video about my failure here) at an exhibition 10 years ago and even today when I walk into an exhibition the memories of that failure come rushing back. I look at the tiny cookie cutter stalls, racks full of clothes, the nervousness on the faces of the sellers and it all makes me feel like I am choking, I feel like I need to run out for some air.
2. I have young children who are my biggest priority and so I don't travel for exhibitions.
However, every once in a while, we do have Popups because we love the opportunity to meet all of you and allow you to actually touch, feel and experience Ek Dori before you buy it. I choose these PopUps very cautiously and over the years, Sanskriti PopUps are the ones that I have absolutely loved being a part of.
For starters, Sanskriti Lifestyle In Koregaon Park Pune is just beautiful, it is like an oasis in the midst of the city, it is where I feel all nervousness melt and a calm blankets over me. Maybe its the greenery that surrounds me, maybe it is the warmth of the host, Shalaka, the freedom to express your personality, the absence of overflowing booths, the vintage world that surrounds me or maybe its just a combination of everything above.
We love being at Sanskriti Lifestyle - we love the space and the feeling.
So as the year comes to a close, we decided to thank you guys with a
Sale : There will be ready to wear casuals all below Rs1000. There will also be some sarees on sale.
You will also find some fresh new pieces never seen before :)
So make sure you drop by this weekend to get yourself a piece of Ek Dori or just for a cup of coffee and a big hug.

You look beautiful, tall, and so graceful wearing that Saree
! I have found many traditional saree stores online but very few with higher-end designer sarees. I still like to look even if I can’t afford them!
